Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Monday said that it was essential for the government to make cash available for the common man in Pakistan to be able to own low-cost houses.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, addressing a ceremony in Islamabad in connection with the unveiling of (SBP) State Bank of Pakistan's financing policy for low-cost housing, said that our focus has been on efforts to boost the lowest sectors of society and reduce poverty. He said that it is essential for the government to keep cash for ordinary man in Pakistan and make them able to own low-cost homes 

Prime Minister said the government taken an ambitious strategy to build five million low-cost housing units in next five years. 

Imran Khan said that Everyone wants a home of their own and that it is an important to make low-priced financing available for the needy class for them to own houses.

He appreciated the State Bank of Pakistan for incentives and banks to which lend money to peoples for low-cost housing projects.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government's leading affordable housing programme will enhance more than 40 other associated industries and businesses and create flexible employment opportunities in the country.

He said that the government also has plans to regularize slump area by replacing them with apartment flats and plaza.
